Create trace links

Link work items from the metadata sidebar according to project rules.

MEDIOORA: Create trace links

Create

Open the Traceability section in the right sidebar, choose Create Trace Link, search by ID/title and filter by type. Only permitted candidates appear.

Rules

Default rules connect system requirements to components, architecture and system tests; components to architecture/tests; architecture to detailed design; and tests to bugs. Same-type links are references. Self-links and cross-project links are rejected.

Locks

Accepted or Denied items cannot add or remove links. Configure levels and rules as described in chapter 018.
